Here is some information about what we are learning this term. Things do change, but this is what we are aiming to learn about.
Please read our knowledge organisers to find out more about our topic blocks.
We will upload the weekly English and Maths home learning very Thursday to be completed by the following Friday. Even though we can't currently mark home learning, stamps will still be awarded for those who complete it. Children should be aiming to spend 10 minutes on each part of the home learning.

Year 6 roles and responsibilities
Things are a little different for our year 6’s this year with many of the usual roles and responsibilities unable to be carried out due to restrictions in children mixing.
However, we strongly believe that all children should be given the opportunity to lead an initiative or hold a position of responsibility that impacts the school as a whole, so we have developed a wide range of leadership roles which we hope the year 6’s will be proud to take up. This is part of their personal development and preparation for secondary school. We believe that children need to experience duties and responsibilities that come with being a member of a community in order to help them prepare to play an active role as citizens. Please find below a list of roles. Each year 6 applied for a position and the applications were considered very carefully. Please ask your child about their new role and some of the things they will be doing to make a difference across our school. Well done to all year 6’s for their fantastic job applications!
Year 5’s in Maud Heath have been asked to form an Eco Council to help St. Paul’s become a eco-friendlier school. They all have lots of great ideas and we look forward to the campaigns and changes they will be making.
